TFG is together again with guest Jarray “Jay” Stephens (My Wealth Journey, LLC) to discuss the deeper wealth journey. Yeah, we are DEEP. Jay opens up about getting into Tech, jumping into real estate investing, and all the financial nuggets in between.

Wait wasn’t Jay on before? Well, we do love our pre-show or after-show conversation with our guests. Love these wealth chats since it feels like we are building community. Join us and get to know how a little black girl becomes a leading lady in tech. Best life activated.

But what’s this deeper wealth journey that we keep mentioning? Well it’s a journey into finances with one truth. It’s not about the money. Instead, it is one of self-discovery, exploration and growth. Hopefully, it’s also a path that can help you understand who you are. In the end, it’s not easy nor will it fix every aspect of your life.

Here are a few things to keep in mind:

  • Start by getting clear on what you want. What are your goals? dreams?
  • What kind of life do you want to create for yourself?
  • Once you know what you want, take action. Your future self requires this effort from you.

About us, The Financial Griot Podcast:

The name is a play on two words (Finance + Griot) that hold significance in closing the wealth gap while embracing our differences.

In the region of West Africa known as the western Sahel, legendary tales are shared and passed down through different forms of expression. They are told by people known as griots (pronounced gree-oh), also known in some cultures as jeliw, who are the narrators of oral traditions.

To breathe new life into this once broken tradition, we tell the stories that others don’t. Stories about growth, opportunity, and embracing changes. The goal is to talk about wealth building in all it facets from Goal setting, budgeting, cash flow management, tax planning, and end of life preparation.

The journey must and always will be full circle.

Can you imagine being a Millionaire in 20 years or less? Yeah, it’s possible. 80% of millionaires are the first generation. That means they didn’t come from wealth. The hosts were able to amass over $2 Million in wealth in about 8 years and are on track to retire early.

If you want the secrets; we will gladly share them since the opportunity is abundant and Win-Win.
