This Generation’s Civil Rights Movement: Financial Revolution
This is one of that rare bonus TFG conversations. As such, we are focusing on the current Financial Revolution. If it’s your first time hearing of this concept, you are in for a treat.
Past Revolutions
In the past, the world has seen the Renaissance, the Enlightenment, and the Industrial Revolution Part I and Part II.
In modern times, beyond civil rights and environmental awareness, we are less to contemplate the Financial revolution.
To that end, the goal is to recognize the game that you are playing. Most people are stuck in an endless race for moral parity. This movement is akin to playing racquetball against an opponent who long since left the court.
Inflation is eroding purchasing power while globalization is straining the cost of goods. The average US household is effectively indebted to its lifestyle.
Bloodless Financial Revolution solutions
As of now, to protect your future, you must:
- Decrease unnecessary expenses in order to live the life that’s tailored to you,
- Increase your income because inflation will eat it up and only cash flow matters, and
- Investing the difference in yourself, your family, your experiences, your lifestyle, investments, retirement, real estate ownership, and finally small business.
Take a breather, we know it’s a lot.
This is what Lovely Merdelus and Lawrence Delva-Gonzalez chose to tackle this massive problem in 30 epic financial literacy minutes.
As always, we like to thank the five devoted fans that keep downloading this podcast.

Background on the Financial Griot
The Financial Griot is a play on two words (Finance + Griot) that hold significance in closing the racial wealth gap.
Merriam-Webster defines a Griot as a West African historian, storyteller, praise singer, poet, or musician. The griot is a repository of oral tradition and is often seen as a leader due to their position as an advisor to royal personages. As a result of the former of these two functions, they are sometimes called a bard.
As such, we tell stories that others don’t. We want to spark a revolution in thinking. Stories that we should share for growth, opportunity, and understanding. Beyond that, we talk about Finances. Specifically, how to become Financially literate, incorporate actionable steps and ultimately build generational wealth.ย
So there you have it, The Financial Griot, or TFG for short. You will be in for a treat. The hosts were able to amass over $2 Million in wealth in about 8 years and are on track to retire early. If you want the secrets; we will gladly share them since the opportunity is abundant and Win-Win.
