Fighting for a Better Future
People do not decide their futures, they decide their habits and their habits decide their futures.
F. M. Alexander
Haven’t We Been Here Before?
Stop me if you heard this before. Life is unbalanced and wealth is inequitable. The housing market will crash soon. Stocks will drop significantly. We are entering into a recession soon…
Unfortunately, we been here before. And yet human nature compels us to think that we are in here again. Surprise, there is still another tomorrow in a couple hours.
Fortunately, some things are cosmically true. Life is and will always been unfair. We aren’t clones or duplicates of each other thus we cannot expect that there will ever be a point of pure parity. No matter your financial trauma, you have to move eventually move forward.
Take the time that you need to heal. And remember, that the power of change even if it’s just one step forward is within your grasp. Be the reason that you celebrate next year. Be the hero and protagonist of your story.
What happens tomorrow?
Your tomorrow is defined by every action or inaction that you commit to today. No matter how much money you make, there is a possibility that you can still invest in incremental changes.
If you don’t have the money, invest in yourself. That means, cranking out a book. Watching thought provoking information on the web. Challenging and even un-confirming internal biases that are keeping you stuck.
The past will always be there. It is a fixed reality that we cannot escape. While the future is in flux, today is the best time to enact your plans for a better day tomorrow. Half the year went by; did you accomplish what you set out to do this year. Or will it take another year to get there?
I implore you to find enlightenment and commit to doing that One thing that renders all things meaningless in your life. Your โSuccess demands singleness of purpose.” Gary Keller
